Our mission
We live in a world where we’re constantly connected. Messages, social media, endless group chats and notifications. Yet somehow, finding people to actually do things with isn’t always that simple.
Especially in places like Hong Kong and Singapore.
Our cities are full of interesting people from different cultures, backgrounds and walks of life. We’re surrounded by opportunities, experiences and places to explore. Yet between work, routines and busy schedules, it’s easy to keep doing the same things with the same people.
Why we built YupDay
That’s why we created YupDay.
Not because you don’t have friends. Not because you need another networking app. And definitely not because we’re trying to turn every social interaction into a transaction.
We simply believe life gets more interesting when you say yes a little more often.
Yes to that dinner with people you’ve never met. Yes to a weekend hike. Yes to trying padel for the first time. Yes to a book club, a boat trip or cooking at someone’s home.
Come by yourself. Bring your partner. Bring a friend.
You might feel a little awkward at first. That’s perfectly normal. Some of the best friendships start with a simple introduction.
And who knows? Someone you meet at a Saturday dinner might become your regular golf partner, your hiking buddy or a lifelong friend.

We want YupDay to remain free to join, discover activities, host gatherings and connect with people.
Running and improving a platform takes resources. That’s why, from time to time, we may work with restaurants, venues, organisers and local businesses through paid promotions or partnerships.
We’ll make sponsored content clearly identifiable.
These partnerships help us cover operating costs and continue developing the platform without relying on membership fees.
Some individual activities may have their own participation costs, which organisers will disclose separately. YupDay’s core platform remains free to use.
Our goal isn’t to keep you scrolling for hours.
It’s to help you find something worth putting your phone down for.
